Important notes for this license
- 100 hours of renewal activity required per 5-year renewal cycle
- Renewal window is January 1 through June 29 of the expiration year; all licenses expire June 30
- Educators with continuous full 5-year Utah employment history no longer required to complete renewal form or obtain administrator signature
- Must complete USBE educator ethics review during the year prior to renewal
- Background monitoring required as a condition of renewal
