- Clinical mentorship for educator preparation program candidates (20 PDPs)

Important notes for this license
- 30 PDPs required per 3-year renewal cycle
- Practitioner License is for educators new to the profession; must ultimately advance to Professional License
- All educators must meet TN Literacy Success Act requirements via approved training or qualifying assessment
- License must be renewed by expiration date; reactivation window extends to October 1 of expiration year
- All transactions submitted electronically through TNCompass at tdoe.tncompass.org
