Important notes for this license

  • 75 PDUs required per 3-year renewal cycle
  • For licenses expiring through June 30, 2026: PDU requirement reduced by 37 (one-time reduction only)
  • Preliminary license is the entry-level license; educators advance to Professional Teaching License after 3 years and meeting additional requirements
