Important notes for this license
- 150 SCECHs or equivalent required per 5-year renewal cycle
- Alternatively, 6 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited institution satisfy the requirement
- District-provided PD must be entered by approved sponsors as SCECHs via MOECS
- Renewal can be submitted beginning January 1 of the expiration year
- Certificate expires June 30 of the renewal year
- Managed through Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS) at mdoe.state.mi.us
