Important notes for this license

  • 160 PDPs required per 5-year renewal cycle for educators without a graduate degree
  • Educators with a graduate degree may qualify for reduced PDP requirements — check KSDE for current thresholds

  • All applications submitted through KLAS (Kansas Licensure Application System) at ksde.gov
  • License renewal fee set annually by the State Board of Education prior to July 1
