Professional Teaching Certificate

90 hours every 5 yearsRenewal fee: $200
Accepted PD: Semester hours from a regionally or nationally accredited university or college (1 credit = 15 hours), Continuing education units from an approved provider (1 CEU = 15 contact hours), Micro-credentials with a minimum of 15 contact hours from an approved provider, Non-academic credit hours (requires pre-approval from DEED)
Full requirements

Provisional Teaching Certificate

Accepted PD: Completion of approved educator preparation program requirements, Passage of required certification exams
